First couple days in St. Lucia
My First Couple Days Vacationing at St Lucia at a Sandals Resort
Traveling to a new destination is always an exciting experience. My husband and I were thrilled to spend our vacation at the beautiful St Lucia in a Sandals resort. We started our journey by taking a helicopter to the resort from the airport to avoid the long 2-hour drive. The helicopter ride was an adventure on its own, and we were able to see breathtaking views of the ocean, town, and greenery.
The Helicopter Ride to the Resort
The helicopter ride to the resort was one of the highlights of our first couple of days in St Lucia. It was a unique experience that allowed us to see the island from a bird's-eye view. The clear blue waters of the Caribbean Sea and the lush greenery of the island were mesmerizing. The town was also visible from above, and it was fascinating to see the architecture and layout of the town. We were amazed by how the buildings were constructed in harmony with nature, making the whole scene even more beautiful. The whole experience was awe-inspiring, and we were grateful for the opportunity to witness such beautiful scenery.
Our Sandals Resort Experience
Our Sandals resort experience has been amazing so far. The resort is beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff has been friendly and accommodating. We have enjoyed the various activities offered at the resort, such as snorkeling, kayaking, and hiking. The water was crystal clear, and we were able to see a variety of colorful fishes and marine life. The hiking trail was scenic, and we were able to get a glimpse of the wildlife and the lush vegetation. The food has been exceptional, and we have been able to try a variety of delicious Caribbean dishes. The resort also offers a range of entertainment options, from live music to dance performances. We were amazed by the talented performers and how they were able to showcase the Caribbean culture through their performances. Overall, our experience at the Sandals resort has been nothing short of fantastic.
Exploring St Lucia
Apart from the resort, we have also been able to explore the island of St Lucia. The island is stunning, with a variety of landscapes and activities to offer. We have visited some of the local towns, tried local cuisine, and interacted with the friendly locals. We were impressed by the hospitality of the people and their willingness to share their culture and traditions with us. We have also been able to visit some of the famous landmarks, such as the Pitons and Sulphur Springs. The Pitons, two volcanic spires that rise out of the sea, were a sight to behold. The Sulphur Springs, the world's only drive-in volcano, was a unique experience that we will never forget. It has been an enriching experience, and we have learned so much about the culture and history of the island.
